LEARNING VISUALIZATION

Exhausted with the use of words? Don’t get enough time to let your imagination fly freely? Want to practice visualization, but don’t know how to spark your interest in the same? Your friends working in the creative departments boast about themselves? It’s not a hard nut to crack. You can too visualize like others. You can also conjure up words and ideas in your brain and then visualize those ideas that would indicate that there is no monopoly in the case of visualization. Not only the graphic designers or the marketing people can visualize but anyone can groom his personality, think creatively, picture the words and ideas, practice it regularly, and then there is a natural, original and inevitable progression in visualization.

 

To start visualizing, all you need to do is to set some themes or look around yourself and observe what is there which you can think of when you close your eyes. Just be relaxed and take it easy as A.B.C. You are not required to be too fast like a racecar but you need to be free like a bird and run your imagination. Close your eyes and in your mind’s eye start sensing a familiar face, the sound of rain on the roof, the clear sound of the bell in a temple, the happy face of a clown, the white cold ice, the delicate and beautiful rose, the dense forest, the bright Sun, the highness of a kite, the innocence of a lamb, the lightness of air, the richness of gold, the slow movement of a tortoise, and the sweetness of honey. Till now you must have conjured up these ideas in your heads and have started learning how interesting and joyful the activity of visualization is. Shun away all the hardness, brutality, ferocity and coarseness and get involved in the fantasy which is far more enriching and invigorating. Uplifted by some great and impacting ideas and thoughts, you can start practicing visualization.

 

The great poets, authors, novelists, and dramatists are forever engrossed in their fantasy and present something new, something rare and rich, which conquer our minds and dominate us because of the originality and the distinct conception of their ideas and imaginations. You can either start visualizing by observing around you or you can inspire yourself by some pastiche. You should not be in a hurry to jump to conclusions that this is not your cup of tea but you need to put your body and soul into it. It comes by true practice, sheer determination, focused efforts, whole-hearted involvement and little by little you would have your head in the clouds. Sometimes, you need to be self-critical because there are times when your ideas can be two ways i.e. both appealing and offending. However, slight element of doubt and criticism always helps you to explore more and the principle of struggling with your imagination would continue to prevail. However, the continuous alterations in your visualization would lead to true progress and you would definitely develop the perpetual force of survival and revival in the field of visualization.

 

 

In a nutshell, visualization is a process of mapping your mind through various layers of ideas and thoughts. Sometimes you go too far to imagine a picture and sometimes the far reached idea becomes a passing fancy and you start visualizing what next and next? You need to ignite the fire to think beyond a limit and then you can see the flames of your imagination becoming the inspirational levels for others. If you practice the art of learning visualization, but can’t learn then it’s a wild goose chase. Because you need to think laterally, explore beyond a level, need to be arbitrary, read anything because if you don’t read, from where will you be inspired and see your range. Make your own small kingdom where the thoughts and feelings dwell. You will see that the ideas would flow swiftly as a river and would demonstrate their originality.
