Apeejay School of Management organizes its 13th Convocation Ceremony

Celebrating the successful academic accomplishments, Apeejay
School of Management conferred Post Graduate Diploma in Management to its students of
various specializations such as Marketing,Finanace and Human Resource Management. This
was the 13th Convocation Ceremony of the institute which prevailed amidst an atmosphere
of pride and excitement among the students.
The event commenced with the Covocation Procession and the declaration of the
Convocation Ceremony by Mr.Sushma Berlia, President, Apeejay education society followed
by the report from the Director of the institute, Dr. Alok Saklani.
While delivering the convocation address, Chief Guest for the occassion, Mr. Nagesh
Pydah, Chairman and Managing Director, Oriental Bank Of Commerce, said, “I am
deeply impressed with the conviction and confidence which radiates from the students of
Apeejay School of Management and I congratulate you all on the successful completion
of your respective courses. The Institute has provided you a launch pad for entering into
the professional world but I must advice you to attain professional progress without
compromising on values. Always remember ethics is not a science, it is an art, which needs
to be practiced intensely.”
Bidding farewell to the graduating class, Mrs. Sushma Beria, conferred Diplomas upon 180
graduating students along with administering the ‘Graduating Oath’ of ethical conduct to all
recipients of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management. “The World is waiting for people
who are able to think, analyze and apply and I can proudly say that these young talents
will make great progress and positively impact business and society in the coming years.
As the Indian Economy is integrating with the World, it requires Managers with a Global
perspective. An interdisciplinary approach within the students is the need of the hour and
keeping this perspective in mind, Apeejay concentrates on producing holistic individuals.”
Amongst other attendees were Mr. K. K. Dwivedi (Vice Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University),
Dr. Alok Saklani (Director, Apeejay School of Management), Prof. Ashok Ogra (Director of
Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication), Mr. Akshey Kumar (Registrar of ASM), Prof.
Deepankar Chakrabarty (Dean of ASM) and Prof. Etinder Pal Singh .

At last the event ended up with the declaration of the closing of the Convocation by Mrs.
Sushma Berlia followed by the National Anthem.
